Meghann Fahy’s terrifying new film follows one night in the life of a widowed mother who tries out dating again for the first time, only for it to go terribly wrong when her life is invaded and she is threatened via AirDrop on her phone.
During his recent visit to New York Comic Con, which welcomed over 200,000 attendees to the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan, Blumhouse Productions CEO Jason Blum welcomed the actress ahead of her upcoming Blumhouse film.
When asked how she was able to prepare for such an emotionally heightened role, with the filme premiering in April 2025, Fahy revealed: “I didn’t.”
“There just really isn’t a way to, I dont think,” she explained. “This is my first time doing a film in this genre so I was very excited beforehand and also very scared.”
She went on to credit director Christopher Landon, who also joined them, saying: “He was an incredible leader. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and was able to explain everything to me.”
“And the rest of it, I just kinda was wingin’ it,” she jokingly confessed.
“I didn’t know where to start. I love these films so much, and this genre, but acting in one is like a completely different beast.”
Fahy is well-known for starring in some of today’s most beloved series, including the HBO hit White Lotus, and Netflix’s The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman.
